An app generates a APPLICATION event viewer error when it's closed. The app itself performs well.

How can the error be either hidden or blocked?

Info on line related to MMC and the app console has been studied, but not understood.

Make it simple, please. ^_^

Hi,

Somehow, we changed the User Interface of Windows 10. We set Windows 10 not to hide a specific error in the Event Log. This is done in order to prevent incorrect logging of important errors.

For now, kindly disregard the normal errors which appears in the Event Viewer.

Also, if you have a suggestion regarding the log on the Event Viewer, we encourage sending it to the Feedback hub. To do so, kindly follow these steps:

  1. On a Windows 10 device, search for “Feedback Hub” in Cortana search, then launch the app.
  2. Navigate to Feedback in the left menu, then press + Add new feedback.
  3. Select the Problem, and share any details you think are relevant, and choose an appropriate category and subcategory.
  4. Important: If possible, reproduce the problem(s) after clicking Begin monitoring (or Start capture) near the end of the form; Stop monitoring when you’re done.
  5. Once you’ve completed the form and monitoring, click Submit.
  6. Click Continue using Feedback Hub.
  7. Click My feedback at the top, then find the item you submitted (it may take a while to appear).
  8. Open the item you submitted, then click Share.
  9. Click Copy link, then paste the link here in your response (it will look like <https://aka.ms/ link>)

If you have more concerns, feel free to post.

Regards.

The window header here reads Local Group Policy Editor, not Group Policy Management Editor, and the APPLICATIONS tree is not shown.

Single user on this Windows 10 Pro PC.   Thanks.

The application snap-in is located in the Group Policy Management Editoras shown below:

You can open the Group Policy Management Editor by running gpedit.msc command on Run or by searching for Group Policy in the search box.

Kindly update us regarding your issue.

Your link was the first article that was consulted, but it does not indicate where or how the Application Center snap-in can be accessed.

    Hello,

Some errors in the Event Viewer are completely normal and could just be left there. You can actually stop an Event from being automatically loggedin the Event Viewer specially the normal errors. To do so, kindly refer to this link.

Do get back to us if you need further assistance.

    Regards.
