Camera not available message

Sometimes I get the message from Windows Hello that, "Camera not available. Please enter you pin."But it only happens sporadically during the boot up process when I get to the log in page. I cannot figure out why this only happens sometimes, nor what to do about it to stop the problem. The Microsoft support page says it can be related to my anti-virus software (McAfee) but I can find no settings in McAfee that seem related to the camera and the McAfee Virtual Technician can find nothing wrong with McAfee or my PC. I'm running Windows 10 on a Dell Inspiron 5559 model that uses a built in camera. The Windows Device Manager says the camera is working correctly. What can interfere with the camera at the Windows Hello sign in using facial recognition to sign in. The picture is clear and there appears to be no problem with it. Please help.

    Hi Bobby,

There might have been some changes that occurred on your computer without your knowledge reason for the error message "Camera not available" to show up. However, we appreciate the time that you've looked for solution on a Microsoft support page. Upon checking the article regarding your concern, it also says there to "Checked for an outdated webcam driver, Roll back, and **Uninstall your webcam driver and scan for hardware changes"**if checking the antivirus settings didn't work. If you've tried the other steps provided in the article, may we know the results?

We're looking forward to your response.
