setting cursor speeds per device?

I want to set separate cursor speeds for the trackpad and a microsoft wireless mouse for my laptop (Windows 10 Fall Creators...). It seems that Windows does not have that capability - I have to go into settings and manually change the cursor settings for each interface - or am I missing something? If this is true, it essentially rules out ever using them alternately within a work session. Am I missing something, or is this as bad as it seems?

    Hi,

The cursor speed of your trackpad and your Bluetooth mouse shares the same setting. Therefore, when it comes to changing the speed, there's only one setting that can be used for both of them and that you need to set it manually for each interface.

Feel free to post back if you have further questions.

Thank you for the clear explanation Eileen.

I'm just used to consistency between trackpad, mouse, and other input devices in the Mac OS. Are you aware of any solutions - such as adjusting the mouse input to match the trackpad?
