Looking in my Windows Image Backup Log folder I see the filenames are "Backup_Error-DD-MM-YYY_ ......"  Should I be concerned they are labeled as Backup Error?

We can assure that everything will work. If ever you will encounter any problem in the future, you can run the System File Checker to scan and restore corrupted files.

IF you need any assistance, feel free to post back.

I am not experiencing system performance issues, however, there is a 1KB "Backup_Error-DD-MM-YYY-______"  text file in my Logs folder for every image backup I've performed so it's not a one off occurrence.  Would like some assurance everything will work when failure occurs?

    Hi,

If it's just a 1 KB text file, it might be just some old log file or temporary file. If it does not affect your PC's performance, nothing to worry. You can scan your computer using your antivirus to make sure there's no virus or threats.

Let us know if you have other concerns.

What is it I should be downloading to see if it loads....the log file is just a small 1KB text file so I don't think that is it?

    Hi,

It is possible that an error occurred while saving the image backup. If these files are labeled as Backup Error, you can check if they are working by trying to download the file and see if it will load. If it does, then there is no need to worry. If not, as long as it does not affect your PC's performance, then you can leave it as it is, as deleting it may cause more problems in your device.

Feel free to post back if you need further assistance.
