Hi,

i hope that someone can help me for this problem.

I bought this laptop some weeks ago, it is a Asus Rog gl502vs. While i'm playing at some games like gta 5 or Guild Wars 2, several times i came across an issue. Suddenly the images of the game freezes while sound continue to play. After some seconds the screen becomes all white with some graphical artifacts and the laptop reebots. i went to the events visualizzer and i saw that the errors that causes this issue are:

I also came across to volgmr id 46 but i dont have details cause i have formatted the system.

I already tried to format several times and reinstall windows whithout istalling other apps than drivers and a game to test, did a clean setup of the drivers, tried to set the laptop to performance mode, make sure that it wasn't any problem of overheating.

I also noticed that this issues occur in several games but not in all games. For example on Assassin's creed origins i have played about 40h without anything happening.

Thanks for the attention, have a nice day.

    Hi,

Yes, there is a big possibility that the issue has something to do with the hardware considering that you have done reformatting your computer. Something to keep in mind: when there is a software issue and you've done reformatting your computer, the issue has to be resolved or else we have to take a look at the hardware side of the computer.

You may get in touch with your computer manufacturer as advised by Michael. They can take a look at the hardware of your computer. They're the best people to talk to in cases like this.

Should you have any other concerns, feel free to post back on this forum.

    Hi,

This issue might occur due to a faulty hardware or outdated BIOS. We suggest that you get in touch with your device manufacturer to check if there is an available BIOS update, and to get an in-depth assistance in updating it.

    Regards.

I arleady updated bios to the lastest version.

Is it possible to be an hardware problem?
