Remote desktop application on Mac displays windows as invisible

Hi,

So the issue I am having is with the remote desktop application on any Mac machine, I connect to my Recruitment crm software and I have no issues, the software loads fine and I am able to use it.

The issue appears when I click on a link inside of the CRM to load a second window. The CRM software has Word, Outlook etc built into it and you can open these as a second or third window on top of the CRM window, however when you do this, the second window, let's say Outlook, always appears invisible, the window can be seen through a thin outline of the window itself, but the entire contents of the window is transparent so you can see through onto the desktop or the CRM.

This happens to anyone who opens a second session, this does not happen when the CRM is loaded on a Windows machine with the same user account to log into the CRM with.

I have resized the window, changed the resolution of the machine as well as the remote desktop software but no luck, unfortunately. The windows at times appear when changing the resolution but the functionality does not work.

This only started happening with the Microsoft remote desktop application version 10.4.0 and any newer versions. I have tested beta versions of the remote desktop application and no luck with this either.

I also tried installing the older versions of remote desktop application but they don't function properly now, if I launch any software with those older setups, the entire remote app closes, not just the crm, just after launching.

Any assistance would be much appreciated. Please do let me know if you need any further information.

Thank you,

    Hi,

First, we can check from these two basic aspects.

    1. Please check RDSH version, you can enter "winver" in the windows search box to check.
    2. Try the latest version of Microsoft Remote Desktop Beta.

Second, if we still encounter this problem, please post your case description with your Mac OS version on this website. https://remotedesktop.uservoice.com/

My pleasure to share some suggestions. If my answer is helpful, please mark it as accepted. Really appreciate.

    best regards
