    Hi Winnie,

This erratic behavior of Windows 10 may have risen from the recent update itself. During updates, issues may arise from software changes, outdated drivers, conflicting programs, and sometimes update components that was not successfully completed.

You may run the Windows Update troubleshooter, since we are sure that you have updated Windows 10 . By doing this we will be able to determine the root cause of the issue and thereby fix it.

Kindly follow the steps below to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter :

    • Press Windows + X and select Control panel.
    • In the search box, type troubleshooter, and then click Troubleshooting.
    • Under System and Security, click Fix problems with Windows Updates.

Let us know if the solution provided works for you. Otherwise, we’ll be here if you need further assistance.

    Hi Winnie,

It's odd for your keyboard keys to stopped working after a Windows update. There could be some other changes (software, programs, drivers) that affected your notebook's keyboard. However, let us isolate your concern by providing the answers to these questions:

    • What build and version of Windows are you running on your notebook?

Right-click on the Windows icon on your screen,

and choose System to see the build and version of your

              Windows.

    • Have you tried using an external keyboard to replicate the issue?
    • Have you checked if the on-screen keyboard does the same?
    • What was the last update that was installed on your notebook?

In the meantime, you may follow the troubleshooting steps in this article regarding Mouse, touchpad, and keyboard problems in Windows 10.

We're looking forward to your response.
