Wired Mouse Lag

Hi there,

When I first updated my computer (Lenovo PC All-In-One, Series C

C40-05 AIO) to the recent windows updates, I had odd cursor lags. The pointer doesn't move smoothly at all, it was only jumping which made my work very difficult to further proceed. It even happens while the workload is very low. Also, I have the latest Windows 10 Updates installed and the latest drivers as well.

Could you please help me in resolving this terrible issue?

Thanks,

Bjsd

Let's replicate your concern using the safe mode environment. It's a diagnostic mode of a computer operating system. Safe mode is intended to help fix most, if not all problems within an operating system. Here's the link for the steps on how to perform safe mode. You can also create a new user profile to replicate your concern. It's for us to identify if the user profile is already corrupted where the issue is occurring. Click on this link to learn how to create a new user profile.

We're looking forward to your feedback.

WE appreciate your response. We suggest that you update the driver of your mouse in Device Manager. Once done, observe if the issue persists. The steps on how to update a driver is in this article. Make sure to expand the Mice and other pointing devices.

Let us know if updating the driver works.

    Hi,

It's odd for the Windows Update to cause an issue to someone's computer, since it was develop to enhance the performance of every computer that's running Windows operating system. However, we suggest that you check if the issue is with the sensitivity of your mouse. You can also use a different mouse to replicate the concern.

We're looking forward to your feedback.
