This can be caused by several different reasons. This issue may occur due to corrupt or incorrect power settings. This may also happen due to corrupt display or graphics driver.
To assist you with this, let us run the Power Troubleshooter and see if it would do the trick. This will automatically troubleshoot Windows power plans and detects your system settings that can affect power usages, such as timeout and sleep settings, display settings, and screensavers, and restore them to their default settings. To do this:
- Go to Search, type troubleshoot, and open Troubleshooting.
- Under System & security > Power.
- The troubleshooting wizard will start automatically, and if any issues are detected, it will try to solve them for you.
We also recommend that you update display driver from the computer manufacturer's website and check if it helps.
