Highlight the files you want to move then hold down the SHIFT Key while you drag them... you should actually see a comic bubble saying move to as soon as you start the drag.
How Do I Move Files Between Different Storage?
In previous versions of Windows, dragging & dropping files between my PC, a USB Flash Drive or even my Samsung Galaxy S7; would result in them being moved there. Although in Windows 10 Home 64-bit, the default action seems to be copy, is there a way I can change this?

That's what I did because I couldn't remember if it was Shift or Ctrl to move. And it surely works here from a SSD attached to my WiFi access point to my laptop .

2018-02-26T19:01:50+00:00 either select the all at top right, then move to, then on other drive on top select move to >>choose location and browse to other storage location and then select MOVE
or I always select all or the files I want and highlight them, then right click on any highlighted area and select CUT or COPY and then go to desired location and right click on blank spot in window and select PASTE.
