Which driver were you looking for at mfg web.A code 10 usually means the service is available to Windows, but needs configuration/software to run..USB/Video/Audio/Networking all get running with the OS by "Chipset Installation Driver-Software",youre mfg has this, but being a Win 7 era pc,the downloads are probably old..They will get you going but the pc hardware mfg (Intel/AMD/etc) will have more current..Use the pc mfg number(s)/data & write it down, maybe after head overto pc hardware mfg.Make sure you have Administrator user account,& turn off parental software in account.Maybe also chk device mgr,see if other hardware isn't running.
USB error code 10 windows 7
I keep getting error code 10 on USB running Windows 7. I have gone through all the processes, update driver, uninstall- reinstalll, went to manufacture website, windows could find the driver but could not install it, or latest driver already installed. Right before all of this I had trouble getting windows to start up at all. Had to restart comp 3 or 4 time to finally get windows to boot. How do I know if that is where my problem lies instead of with the USB driver?
