I ran into this on a client's brand new Dell XPS 15 with Dell TB16 Thunderbolt dock. I was unable to trace back the issue to any specific driver beyond hal.dll. Problem ended up being the laptop Thunderbolt driver. Once I used Driver Booster to update that driver, the Driver_Verifier_DMA Violation BSODS appear to have stopped.
Constant BSOD. Stop code: Driver_Verifier_DMA_Violation
I have been having constant blue screens with the stop code of Driver_Verifier_DMA_Violation. I have checked in BlueScreenView and it says from the dump that the blue screen is caused by HAL.dll . Parameter 1 is "00000000`00000026".

2019-01-28T19:25:27+00:00 Are you using any type of Thunderbolt dock? I work in IT and have a user with the same issue and seems to be related to the dock and their Logitech Mouse. They claim they never ran Driver Verifier so it's puzzling why this is happening randomly for them.
dude, i've been fighting this issue for a few weeks now using two plugable Thunderbolt docks, one at home and one at work. Both randomly give me that exact spontaneous crash. Well, I'm also using Logitech mice at home and work. Unplugging them now. If that clears it up, you're awesome!
