Windows Update + Hyper-V problem

Hi.

Today, Windows Update installed some updates on my Windows 10 system (compilation of Windows 10 17134.228).

I have a hyper-v virtual machine running in the background, but when the Windows update reboots the computer, do not worry about the status of the VM and simply restart the computer. The virtual machine was turned off without any care. On this occasion, I was lucky and I did not lose any data in the VM, but I think that windows update should consider if VM is running before proceeding.

Hola.

    Hi Juan,

Glad to hear that you didn't lose any data. I advise that you post this on TechNet forums as there are more experienced people on how to deal with Hyper V. With your Windows Updates, I advise that you make a schedule of when updates would be installed. This way, the installation process would proceed when you're not busy. Here's an article on how to do this.

Let me know if there's anything else you need.
