Error code 0x80070002 when changing/adding features in Windows Features

Today I attempted adding some things in Windows Features (Control Panel -> Programs and Features -> Turn Windows features on or off and when applying I received the error message as follows:

Windows couldn't complete the requested changes.

The system cannot find the file specified.

Error code: 0x80070002

The features I tried to enable were as follows:

  • Hyper-V

Hyper-V Management Tools

Hyper-V GUI Management Tools

Hyper-V Module for Windows PowerShell

Hyper-V Platform

Hyper-V Hypervisor

Hyper-V Services

  • Services for NFS
  • Windows Hypervisor Platform

I'm running Windows 10 Pro - Version 1803  (OS Build 17134.48)

Windows for home | Windows 10 | Install and upgrade

    Try running SFC / DISM and check after this
