Marilyn,

I'm writing here because I have the same problem with VMware installation.

What if I have my Windows 10 installed in December 2015, now is  April ,1 2018 and I kept it up to date all the time?

It is not very specific approach, is it?

    Hi,

We need to do further investigation so that we can identify the cause of the issue. It's possible that there's another program that you tried installing before the VMware which has not been completed. Try performing a reboot/restart and see if it helps. I also suggest that you perform a clean boot to disable non-Microsoft services and check if the issue persists. For steps on how to perform a clean boot, click here. After troubleshooting, refer to How to reset the computer to start normally after clean boot troubleshooting found in the same article.

    Looking forward to your response.
