I am having a problem with installing a program (Abbyy Finereader) - I keep getting a fatal error - there was an error creating a temporary file that is needed to complete this installation

Find out the version of abby software you have and see what operating system they say it is for.
If it is for windows 10
uninstall it.
Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features
restart pc and install it again

if it is not for windows 10, then
uninstall it.

What operating system was Abby designed for. If it was for Windows 8 or prior, then follow this to get it installed and running properly.

Do you use Malwarebytes premium?
The anti ransomeware feature is currently affecting installation of programs & being able to play games, the solution is to disable this while installing.
If you don’t then please disregard.
