Hi I have exported a number of SharePoint Lists to an excel spreadsheet, but I can not Vlookup to this data, does anyone know a work around. The files that are exported from SharePoint to excel are Query, so I don't think hold any data. I want to be able to pull data from the List data into a different excel spread sheet.

I have the same issue. I guess it would be opened in desktop, since it's not online. We use Office365 if that helps. Every time I export a sharepoint excel list, I'm not able to use VLookup, it just shows the formula in the space. And the "show formulas" is not activated. If I create a new column outside of the Table Design it will work, but I lose the ability to have the columns sort correctly. Mine is saved to our network drives.

Did you get any error message or error value after using VLOOKUP formula in Excel?
Did you open in Excel online or Excel desktop?
Where did you save these Workbooks?
Try to test if you can use other formula to return value, please be a bit more precise to explain your problem or you can upload a screenshot so that I can get more accurate solutions to this problem. I’m glad to help and follow up your reply.
