ContextMenuHandlers Missing From Registry!

Hello, recently I have noticed that when I right click, the option to create a New Folder, new Zip, new Word document, new anything has completely disappeared.

I searched the internet for the issue and found a solution that involves going into the registry and manually fixing it. However, when I go to my registry http://HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\Background\shellex\ I notice that "ContextMenuHandlers" is entirely missing! As if it's been deleted or something.

So I cannot solve the issue because the folder within the registry I have to find just simply does not exist.

Is there a way this can be fixed? I cannot find anyone with the same problem anywhere on the internet.

Please help!

If this is a recent problem then System Restore (rstrui.exe) should fix it without loss of user data.
