How to throttle Windows Updates disk usage

I've enabled Windows Updates after some time and wanted it to just download updates.

Unfortunately Windows started to install them without reboot, taking 100% disk usage making computer unsuable.

Is there a way to stop this installation or at least throttle disk usage?

I'm sorry, it looks like they recently changed it to that. That is ridiculous.

Have you completed the installation of the update? 100 percent disk usage after the newest cumulative update is a known issue. Fix for this-Uninstall the update.

Hey Wojciech, disc usage is based on how "fast" your hard-drive / solid state drive is. Unfortunately you cannot stop a disk from writing properly.
