reduced Epson printer functionality in Windows 10, Office 2013

I have contacted Epson and the problem is not at their end. I can access the Epson print dialogue and full printer functionality from Win7, Office XP.

I note win Win10 and Office 2013 the printer dialogue boxes have changed and I can no longer print from the rear paper print feed. The option is no longer displayed. Similarly, I cannot designate the default printer tray so that I can stock envelopes in Tray 1 and paper in Tray 2.

I'm using an Epson WF-3540 and I had access to the Epson print software until an update in Windows 10.

How can I restore the functionality of my printer?

    Hi RGB,

I think we should download the latest driver on the Epson website - found here - https://epson.com/Support/Printers/All-In-Ones/... - 2 links below, 1 is just for the printer driver, the other has all the other goodies.

    Printer Driver - https://ftp.epson.com/drivers/epson15480.exe

Driver and Utilities Combo - https://ftp.epson.com/drivers/epson15711.exe

Once downloaded, we are going to remove your Epson. Click start, and type "devices and printers" - find your epson, right click and delete/remove.

    Once done, reboot.

Once booted back up, run the driver you downloaded to install. Let's see if installing the printer with the updated Win 10 64 driver returns the functionality you are looking for.

    Let me know!

Please try the steps recommended below to uninstall printer software

Option 1: Run the Printer Troubleshooter - http://aka.ms/diag_printer10

Option 2: Uninstall and Reinstall the Printer

    A. Uninstall the Printer

Windows Key+X > Apps and Features / Programs and Features

    Select your printer.

    Select Uninstall.

Windows key+R, type control, hit Enter

    Open Devices and Printers.

In the Devices and Printers window look for your Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose Delete or Remove Device

Windows Key+R, type Cmd, hit Enter

    Type printui.exe /s > OK.

    Click on Drivers tab.

Look for Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.

    Select OK.

Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.

    Close Devices and Printers.

    B. Install the Driver

Go to the Printer manufacturer’s website and search for the latest Windows 10 drivers
