Computer clock shows wrong time

I am in Canada and my 2-year-old Acer Aspire has Windows 10. The time clock is always 1 hr. ahead of real time. I reset, change location from Canada/US to Eastern Standard time Canada. But it doesn't reset itself. Still showing 1 hr ahead of Ontario time. What can I do to fix this? It is critical for me. I m not allowed into a new business I am joining because my clock says wrong time.

Hello, I'm Sheri a Microsoft Community Advisor. I'll be happy to assist you.

Try this, I hope it helps:

    1. Press Windows key + r ( + r).
    2. Type services.msc.
    3. Click Windows Time in the Name column.
    4. Right-click and then click Properties.
    5. Change Startup type to Automatic (if it’s not already set to Automatic).
    6. Click Start if the service isn’t started.

    Best wishes,

    Sheri D.

    Hello,

You can synchronize time with online server. Navigate to Control Panel > Clock, Language and Region > Date and time > Set the time and date > Internet time > Change settings > check Synchronize with an Internet time server and click Update now.

Let us know if this helps!
