Windows Media Player 12 - Adding/Removing Library Locations

I am unable to change the folders listed for my Music Library Locations.  (Windows 10 Home 64-bit, WMP 12.0.16299.248)

The list currently contains folders I previously added.

I select "Organize->Manage Libraries->Music" to open the Music Library Locations window, then perform all the actions I want to do, then I click "OK".

However, the library does not update and when I re-open the Music Library Locations, it has reverted to the original settings.

The library still updates when I add folders/files to the previous locations, but I cannot add new locations or remove existing ones.

I have deleted the database and the problem persists.

Hi - I've stopped using WMP myself, but it's best to keep locations to a minimum (I just used one - 'Music' as default) - and add subfolders to that location. Can you give me some indication of what you are trying to achieve? - there may be a better alternative.
