Years ago I bought a DOPO Intel/Windows 8.1 tablet with Bluetooth keyboard case. A while later Windows offered the free Windows 10 upgrade, which I installed. A few years go by and tablet stops providing a code # for pairing. When you tried to generate a number it would only put up a box for the # to be put in. I talk with a lady in MS support and after everything we could think of she gave me a link to download a fresh install, but I cannot find a product key on the tablet and don't know to look. My PCs, new or reburb, had a sticker on them to enter when you did the setup, this tablet does not..that I can find. I have the original box, but it has no product sticker on it either. Can someone tell me if it's stored inside (electronically)?
I have completed all the steps up to the actual install, but don't want to wipe out the original key if it's installed inside. The couple that sold the tablets, Doublepowertech.com, is out of business, so they were no assistance.
Is there any help, advice or knowledge someone can offer as to where I can find the key?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated,
Husker.32

Thanks for the prompt reply Mr. Da Costa.
When I hit Windows (button) + X, "Click Windows PowerShell (admin)" is not one of my choices.

After my 3rd attempt (fat fingers) using the "Command Prompt (Admin)" seems to have worked.
Thank you so much Sir,

Hi Husker.32,
You have the option to reinstall Windows 10 without using a product key, as long Windows 10 was on that machine short of significant hardware changes like motherboard and/or CPU, you'll have a digital entitlement which should enable you to reactivate Windows.
During the installation process, when prompted for a product key, mention "I don't have a product key", it will activate as soon you get back on Windows.
Hope this helps, let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns.
Press Windows key + X
Click Windows PowerShell (admin)
Enter the following command:
wmic path SoftwareLicensingService get OA3xOriginalProductKey
Hit Enter
The product key will be revealed, copy the product key then enter it
Click Start > Settings > Update & security > Activation > Change the product key then enter the new product key then click Next to Activate
If you are unable to activate Windows 10 after all the above and you are certain you have the correct edition installed, then please attempt chat support:
