I recently did a factory reset on my windows 10 laptop and now cannot use my projector with the HDMI cable. I assume it is a software update issue but can't find the HDMI driver to update it, can someone direct me to this driver?

    Hello PAULTHOMSON5,

Not sure about a projector issue but it might be the display output settings

    1. Right-click your desktop and click Personalize.
    2. Click Display.
    3. Check if you’re able to see the Projector as a second monitor.

    If you can’t see it:

On your keyboard, press the Windows logo key windows and P at the same time.

    Click Duplicate.

If Duplicate doesn’t work, try switching to Extend.

    Check again.

Other thing I can think of is, updating the graphics driver

You can update your video drivers manually by going to the manufacturer’s website for your video card, and searching for the most recent correct driver. Be sure to choose only drivers that are compatible with your variant of Windows 10.

Hope it helps, have a good weekend

    Thank you,

the key was that I did a factory reset recently. Updating the graphics card drivers did the trick.
