Audio interface issue on last Windows update.

Hello,

Since the last Windows 10 update (I didn't make it in a while), both of my USB audio interfaces do not work anymore (Focusrite Scarlett and Line6 UX2).

The audio interface is recognized by Windows itself and OS' sounds work but no softwares can play sounds.

I reinstalled Windows from scratch to be sure there is no conflict, tried with several driver versions, nothing worked.

With Asio4All, I can access the interface in Ableton Live but with super high latency (the latency is much lower on other audio devices plugged in).

What can I do to make it work?

Thanks

I finally fixed mine by uninstalling the device in device manager and rebooting. Last update did a number on sound.

no speakers on my HDMI monitor but no sound issue with the display port one.

For grins you could try plugging your speakers or headset in there and see what happens.   Otherwise isn't it ridiculous to have audio detected where none is possible?  In my case it happens when I use a HDMI-VGA converter after my Surface HDMI adapter.  The HDMI port can be selected as default audio but of course no audio would be possible.

    tried updating the Focusrite driver

Instead you could revert to an earlier driver by using the Browse my computer... Let me pick... method.

    Hey Robert,

Every audio devices but the USB interfaces work fine.

I have no speakers on my HDMI monitor but no sound issue with the display port one.

I have already tried to troubleshoot in every way I know. Windows sounds work (testing sound as well) but it still tells me driver unavailable.

At first, right after Windows update, I had some crackles and driver crash. So I tried updating the Focusrite driver. Since, none of the drivers have worked. Even after reinstalling Windows.

both of my USB audio interfaces do not work anymore (Focusrite Scarlett and Line6 UX2).

Your image shows two other audio devices.  Do they work?  I would be particularly interested in knowing about your HDMI monitor audio as a default device because in my case it seems the only time it works consistently is when I have used the troubleshooter on it, caused it to request a Restart, but deferred the Restart; then, as long as I avoid the Restart I can have sound via my HDMI audio port.  Makes no sense.  The troubleshooter is clearly deficient.

Otherwise I suggest trying the same thing, make the troubleshooter load a preferred driver but don't allow a Restart and then use the Test function.  The Test function seems to have three states:  working, working but no sound (e.g. you can see the levels supposedly working and it stops after supposedly playing on both channels), not working at all but unaware of why (e.g. it needs to be right-clicked again in order to use its Stop Testing command).  Note also that the troubleshooter may force you to accept things that you might not want in order to make it do some of the things you would like it to do.

Windows 10.  Still an Adventure ("Twisty passages, all different.")

    [Update]

I finnally get the Line6 UX2 working after reinstalling the driver (don't know why it worked this time). There is a lot of crackles but at least it works.
