OneDrive Printing Problems

After my latest Windows update, I cannot print letter size documents from my main paper tray on my Brother printer.  OneNote, Adobe and emaisl print as normal.  However, OneDrive documents must be telling the printer that Manual Feed is the tray.  I have too many long documents to use Manual Tray!

How to fix this problem.  OneDrive told me they will try to get back with me in 24 hours by email!

    Hello John,

Software conflict is a possible cause of the printing issue you're experiencing on your Windows 10 device. Additional information can help me isolate the possible causes of the issue. Kindly answer the following questions:

    • Are you getting any error messages?
    • Are you accessing your documents from the OneDrive app or from OneDrive Online? If you're accessing it online, can you tell me which web browser you're using?
    • Can you tell the current OS Build of your Windows 10 system? Click the Start button, type About your PC, press Enter, and then scroll down to Windows specifications to find this information.

If you're using the OneDrive app, I recommend resetting it and see if the issue continues.

    1. Press the Windows key button + X.
    2. Select Run.
    3. Copy and paste the command below and then click OK.
      • %localappdata%\Microsoft\OneDrive\onedrive.exe /reset
    4. Wait for the OneDrive icon to reappear on the taskbar.

We're looking forward to your response.

Thank you for getting back to us. If you're accessing your OneDrive account by using a browser, it means that you're using OneDrive Online.

For resetting the OneDrive app, you can follow these steps instead:

    1. Click the Start button.
    2. Type Run and then press Enter.
    3. Copy and paste the command below to the Run window and then click OK.
      • %localappdata%\Microsoft\OneDrive\onedrive.exe /reset
    4. Wait for the OneDrive icon to reappear.

If the issue continues, I recommend downloading or moving the document you need to print to your local drive and then try to print it from that location.

We'll be waiting for your reply.

    That Solved the problem.  Thanks.

Software conflict is a possible cause of the printing issue you're experiencing on your Windows 10 device. Additional information can help me isolate the possible causes of the issue. Kindly answer the following questions:

    • Are you getting any error messages?  [No, only on the printer:  "Manual Feed-Load Paper"]
    • Are you accessing your documents from the OneDrive app or from OneDrive Online? If you're accessing it online, can you tell me which web browser you're using?  [I do not know how to tell if I am using Online or the App.  How do you tell?  I use MSN as my browser.]
    • Can you tell the current OS Build of your Windows 10 system? Click the Start button, type About your PC, press Enter, and then scroll down to Windows specifications to find this information.  [Windows Home, Version 1709, OS Build: 16299.371]
