I want to copy files (client folders) to a disc but, I only want to copy files from 1-17-16 to present. How do I search for that specific date range?

If you select the folder in File Explorer and in Search type date: you should see set date ranges. But I don't think they will do what you want.

    This might help

Hi Fred, I wish I knew what your response ment. I'll explain the best I can. I have a file folder "customers", The sub folders are our customers names in alphabetical order. I want to search the customers folder for all new entries from 1-17-16 to present.

    Here is an example.

    Source folder:  C:\Users\Albert\Customers

    Destination folder: H:\

("H:" would be the drive letter of your external disk)

If you will post the exact source and destination folders then I'll give you a command that will do the trick.
