2018-08-29T19:12:26+00:00 You should use other browsers because Edge is an unfinished product still in development. Other browsers may work better for certain tasks. The days of having only one browser are over.
I would compare with Firefox or Chrome (or IE if you want to stay with the built-in) and Word and OneNote. If you don't have Word I'd install free Open Office instead.

2018-08-29T19:05:12+00:00 I just would like to know if it is something to be suspicious about / sec. issue.
I am not follow you why you want me to use another browser when I am using W10 and Edge ?
I may have not explained it in a clear way;
This is happens when I drag and drop a document link from Edge into wordpad, a .pdf doc. that is saved on the HDD/archieve and then has been opened in Edge. The conclusion so far is it happens when I save the document ( Wordpad doc. with just links to other doc. on HDD/archieve ) only with the file format .odt or .docx format not with .rtf format.

2018-08-29T17:47:45+00:00 This would be reported by others if it's an issue with Edge links. You were asked in your original thread if you'd tried pasting the same into Word. If you don't have Office please try also Notepad.
Had you used Wordpad for this previously without the issue?
Can you try generating similar links from another browser to compare? I would have several browsers on your task bar so there's always one that's best for the task. I use Firefox, Edge and Chrome in that order of preference. It's easy to share bookmarks between all of them in their settings under Import Favorites from another Browser.
Go over this checklist to make sure the install is set up correctly, optimized for best performance, and any needed repairs get done: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wiki...
Start with Step 4 to turn off Startup freeloaders which can conflict and cause issues, then Step 7 to check for infection the most thorough way, then step 10 to check for damaged System Files. Then continue with the other steps to go over your install most thoroughly.
I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and let us know how it goes. I will keep working with you until it's resolved.
