This software is a nightmare.
Purchases windows server 16 and currently have 6 computers connected to it in our office, I set it up a couple of years ago but remember having problems with the connector software back then with the windows 10 home versions.
Trying to add a laptop and another computer and both get the same error message
"The server is not available. Try connecting this computer again."
The computer names are in the correct fashion.
The computers can both ping the server.
The computers have windows 10 home installed - is this the problem? Will upgrading to Pro solve this issue?
I have read many many help topics on this and gone through spending hours on this issue trying fresh installs multiple times etc
Any tips?
