In Windows File Explorer (folder icon on your Taskbar) the search term *.jpg still finds all jpg files on your PC:

The Subject bar above is a very simple explanation of how one could find all jpg extensions on Windows 7 (and perhaps 8). I don't have a clue on how to find them on Windows 10.

Thanks, Dave. I clicked on the task bar icon with the folders in a blue folder storage device...but it doesn't work. You're finding it still works on Windows 10 ? ?
Hi Oakley, the quickest way to browse your photos once they are found is:
On the View Ribbon at the top, set Layout to Large or Extra Large icons, and click the 'preview pane' button to turn that on . . .
OK...Dave. The will open but as a small icon, and they open, I believe, in the Microsoft Paint format. I'm going to see if I can work on that...thanks again.
Dave, I found a way that it does still work. I enter the search up in the title bar area on the right side, in the short search window. Delivered a whole screen of small icon pics. Now I'll try to open them as I've noted some folks have trouble opening them.
