intel security assistant

why is this taking up all  of my memory? every day I  get more and more of these windows white windows running tasks while my system starts up. its taken  about 2/3 memory.

    Hi Danger,

    After searching around, I'm realizing you are not the only one with this issue. In fact you may not even need this tool to run.

    Click start, type "msconfig" and open it - then click on the services tab. Find "Interl Security Assist" and "Intel Security Assist Helper" and uncheck them. Click apply, reboot, and see if it's still chewing up your memory.

    Hi Dangerfang13, that app is unnecessary on your PC, the best option is to disable the Startup Service

    Click your Start Button, type services and hit Enter

    In the List of services, find Inter Security Assist (ISA)

    Double click that service

    If it is started, stop it, then set its Startup type to Disabled

    Save and exit the services app

    Restart your PC
