DCOM Error 10016

Problem10016 21 Reputation points

Hi guys,

There is an error that keeps coming back. It botters me, because i tried alot of things allready. I allready reintalled windows, and after gave myself permission over a few keys as instructed on the internet (i believe it was the Runtime key). But it keeps coming back. Why do i keep getting error '10016' on a daily basis? Why is Microsoft not fixing this problem? This is a widely known problem!

If someone out there, can and is willing to help me, please do let me know. Im really going to throw this pc out of my window because of failing errors..

Thanks in advance,

These 10016 events are recorded when Microsoft components try to access DCOM components without the required permissions. In this case, this behavior is expected and by design.
These events can be safely ignored because they don't adversely affect functionality and are by design.
You could suppress these events from view in the Event Viewer. To do it, create a filter and manually edit the filter's XML query similar to the following link:
DCOM event ID 10016 is logged in Windows
Hope above information can help you.

The event logs may provide more error details.
