    I'm not in a situation to need OneDrive, which is why I had to rely on the quote. My understanding is that you should be able to open the file in the OneDrive location on your HD, without going to OneDrive. That is supposed to happen in the background.

    I go into File and get a dropdown box.  I then go to OneDrive which suddenly has this green circle with checkmark.  I click on OneDrive and get another drop box with Documents which now also has that green cik marked circle.  I click on Documents all my documents saved there appear with once again the green circle next to them a click on a document which is a word document and I get a drop down quick opening box Apached Open Office 4 which quickly changes to a new box  Filter Selection Screen with a list of things like HTML DFX etc etc.  I just want to reopen the files.  Yesterday there were no green check marks and I was able to open the files.

    <snip https://www.nvcc.edu/ithd/_docs/OneDrive-End-Us... >

    Once the files have downloaded and synced, you should see a shortcut to OneDrive for Business in Windows Explorer. Files edited, created or copied into this folder will automatically be synced to OneDrive. A green check mark on a file means it is successfully synced.
