Unable to open Local Disk D

Question

Hi,

Somehow I can not open my Local Disk D at all. When I use the file explorer it only shows the Local Disk C but doesn't show how much space is left on it either. When I click on the icon, it doesn't respond at all too. 

I just bought this laptop a few days ago so I am wondering on why is this happening.

Please help.

Hi Idayu,

Open Windows File Explorer

On the left click 'This PC'

On the View ribbon, in the layout section set View to Tiles

Can you then see the free space on your drive(s)

Open Disc Management (accessible by right clicking your Start Button)

Please provide a screenshot of that window

Do you have data stored on that D Drive that you need to keep?

Is that D drive internal on your new laptop?

yes..its internal..i haven't saved anything in it yet when i notice it was like that..have restarted my laptop when it states that need to restart to repair drivers but it is still like that.. it doesn't respond when i double click on the icon or when i right-click and open it..

You will have to format the D: drive
