my F: drive (card reader i put my Canon sandisk camera cards into) no longer responds - used to make a few sounds to acknowledge it had a card inserted - now stays silent - was working earlier today then i put a different card in and it started asking me to format the drive so i removed the card thinking it was just a bad card - now it won't read any card - i did a driver update but still no response

    Hi vedder611,

What is the Make and exact Model No. of your PC?

Try restarting (not shut down) your PC

Open Device Manager (accessible by right clicking your Start Button)

Is that device listed in the SD Host Adapters section?
