Driver Signing error

Hi there

I am only able to startup windows by disabling driver signing (F7), I believe this may also have something to do with my inability to update to the April 1803 update for windows.

After much trial and error and messing around I think I have discovered the culprits, but have no idea how to fix them. I tried a clean install of windows and even that crashes...

the errors I am receiving from event viewer are as follows

Code Integrity error 3037

Code Integrity determined an unsigned image \Device\HarddiskVolume3\Windows\System32\WinBioPlugIns\FaceRecognitionSensorAdapter.dll is loaded into the system. Check with the publisher to see if a signed version of the image is available.

Code Integrity error 3010

Code Integrity was unable to load the Package_1313_for_KB4022727~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~10.0.1.9.cat

code integrity error 3001

Code Integrity determined an unsigned kernel module \Device\HarddiskVolume3\Windows\System32\drivers\mrxsmb.sys is loaded into the system. Check with the publisher to see if a signed version of the kernel module is available.

I'm running an Acer TC-710, 64 bit operating system, stock standard with no additions....Acer did replace a hard drive as it completely blue screen of deathed after the windows fall update.

Any assistance appreciated

Cheers

The Event Logs showed there have been blue screen errors that may be related to the hard drive.

Can you copy the minidump files from the C:\Windows\Miniudmp folder to another location such as the Desktop and share them via OneDrive.

The minidump files will have a record of the crashes.

Can you provide the following information which may help determine any issue(s):

Windows Key + R > type msinfo32 in the "Open" box  > OK > File > Save > then save as an .nfo file

Then make the resulting .nfo file available via a public folder on OneDrive or similar site.

Also, can you do the following:

Windows Key + R > type eventvwr in the "Open" box > OK > expand "Custom Views" and then right-click "Administrative Events" > select "Save all events in Custom View As" and save as an .evtx file

Then make the resulting .evtx file available via a public folder on OneDrive or similar site.

Here's a link on using OneDrive:

Since you cannot update to 1803 and show "unsigned" Windows components consider a "repair" install of Windows 10 - as a general precaution back up any critical files beforehand:
