The second link that I provided includes several options you can perform if in case you don't have a backup for your registry. I suggest that you check the option for recovery using a restore point. Check if you have a restore point prior to the registry being edited and use that to revert your system to the time when everything was still working. Otherwise, you may need to reset your computerto the default settings.
