Sharepoint Online List Lookup Column doesnt work

Using Sharepoint Online List I have created a column to look up data from another List in the same teamsite but despite following the Microsoft instructions on how to do this and tried it several times I can confirm somewhat unsurprisingly that it doesnt work, it either shows NOTHING or a Link saying REQUIRED INFO which takes you to a side page which is just as hopeless. I shall have to work around it with calculated fields which is a pain, but better than mucking about for hours with something that clearly doesnt work.[AllItems.aspx][1] [1]: https://tenant.sharepoint.com/sites/Teams_Performance/Lists/Fire%20Statistics%201403%20%20Stations%20%20Appliances/AllItems.aspx

    Hi @Adrian Turner ,

Look up column is aim to let people choose values based on information that is already stored in the site, there is no default value, it’s necessary for users to select value manually.

If we set “No” to Require that this lookup column contains information when you created a lookup column, it is empty.

If we set “Yes”, it will show Required info.

We will see values after editing list items to select value for lookup column.

If it is not feasible for you, please feel free to reply.
