Sharepoint and Authenticator

Question

Hi,

I just created a Sharepoint site which I now want to share with people external to my company.
Though, when they receive the invite, they also receive a request to download authenticator. I would like to remove this request and let them access to the site freely as soon as they receive a link.
Can you guide me through the process to do so ?

Hi @Mick LMTC ,

If external users are required to download the Microsoft Authenticator app, please check the following points:

1.Sign in to Azure AD Admin center>Azure Active Directory>Properties>Manage Security defaults>choose No:

2.Go to Azure Active Directory>Security>Conditional Access>select the policy which has enabled MFA for external group users>Click Off.

Hi Julie,
Thank you for your time and answer.

Unfortunately, when we try your solution, we cannot achieve the process by clicking "off" for the strategies we do not want.
We do not have access as well to the "custom control", "Terms of use" or "VPN Connectivity" buttons as well.

Do you know what is the issue here ?
