Video Folder missing from user account folder and location tab missing...

Hi

I'm using version W10 x64 1803.

I wanted to relocate the Videos folder and found the location tab is missing from the properties. I then realised that the Videos folder no longer appears in my user account folder.

I had previously moved the Video folder from the default location.

Seems like my current Video folder is no longer seen as one of the special user account folders.

Would appreciate any suggestions on how I can fix this.

No other issues with my system which runs absolutley fine.

Thanks for your time.

Hi B_R, I noticed that too.. . .

Your actual Downloads folder is the one with the ID number:

{374DE290-123F-4565-9164-39C4925E467B}

The other folder seems to refer to Local Downloads - how that differs from the actual Downloads folder - strange . . .

Just in case you ever need it, here are the strings for the other mystery items:

    Hi B_R, thatnks for that, I see the problem . . .

At some point you tried to move your Videos folder to your D drive and forgot to add the folder name and it has ended up as your D drive instead of in a folder named, say D:\Videos . . .

In the right hand pane, double click My Videos

    Set its value to:

    %USERPROFILE%\Videos

Click OK and exit the Registry Editor

    Restart your PC

That will put the Videos library folder back into its original location . . .

    P.S.

I notice you have also moved your other library folders to drives D, I and M - was that your intention?

    Hi B_R,

Click your Start Button, type regedit and hit Enter to open the Registry Editor

    Navigate to this Key:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders

Please provide a screenshot of the resulting Registry Editor window, showing everything in the right hand pane . . .
