Seemingly random bluescreen errors in Windows 10: A different error almost every time

Hi all,

I've been having problems with Windows 10 Bluescreens for quite some time now (Possibly over a year), and I've tried a multitude of fixes found over the internet.

I have been using this article:

https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows\_10-update/driver-verifier-tracking-down-a-mis-behaving/f5cb4faf-556b-4b6d-95b3-

c48669e4c983, in order to test which drivers could be causing this issue, and when the driver verifier is active the PC doesn't get to the Windows log-in screen, and crashes with a bluescreen error more often than not detecting the AseUSBCC.sys driver as the offending file.

This link contains the recent dumps made from the driver verifier bluescreens, along with the DxDiag and MSInfo of the system.

In order to combat this I have tried to use the Windows Media Creation tool to perform an in-place upgrade to fix broken files, but this does not work and the tool gives the message "Cannot perform in-place upgrade."

Is there any other method for fixing these drivers? I'm aware that this .sys file may not be the only cause of the problem. I have ran the DISM tool which doesn't give any errors, and the SFC tool which also shows no problems.

Kind regards,

Luke

Did you check Programs and Features in Control panel and see if such any utility is installed?

Have you disabled Verifier? If not, do so now.

    Then

Uninstall Aladdin USB Key HASP Driver/Check for updates.

The Driver Verifier is disabled, otherwise the PC does not boot and bluescreens before Windows loads.

As the for driver I cannot find anything present in Device Manager that is called that or related to that name. Is there something that I am missing?

    Thanks for the quick reply.

So the 'System SKU' in System Information says "To be filled by O.E.M" I'm guessing that as I built this PC myself it doesn't have that information?

The currently installed Windows version is Version 1803 (OS Build 17134.191)

I upgraded to this version from the previous Windows 10 build, so Windows 10 Version 1703.

I have recently updated my BIOS, Chipset drivers, display/graphics card drivers, and have recently installed a new WiFi card. These issues were present before the updates and after.

    Kind regards,

    Luke

What is the exact make and model?

    Open Start, type: system information

    Hit Enter

    Click System summary

    Look in the right pane

Copy the system sku info into reply here.

Which version of Windows 10 is currently installed? See how to verify:

    https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wik...

Which version and edition Windows did you originally upgrade from or was installed prior to your current version:

    Windows 10 - 1703, 1607, 1511, 1507 (build 10240)

Windows 7 Starter, Home Basic, Home Premium, Windows 8.0 Core, Windows 8.1 Windows 7 Professional, Windows 7 Ultimate, Windows 8.0 Pro, Windows 8.1 Pro

It could suggest you need to update your chipset drivers and BIOS.

I recommend you update the most critical ones: BIOS, Chipset, Display Driver, Network adapters.
