Does anyone else have the same issue in your organization?
Do you have any operations before this issue occurred?
Can you reproduce this issue in Teams web client?
To make sure if this issue only happened in Microsoft Teams, we firstly recommend you try to check if your display name can be seen in other office applications (Outlook and so on). If there is no issue in other applications, please check if you have the newest version of client and try to clean your Teams client cache file and restart it to see if it can be fixed.
If this issue also happened in other applications, we recommend you try to check if your display name is correct in Office 365 admin center(https://admin.microsoft.com/Adminportal/Home?#/users). After login to admin center, click Users -> Active Users to find it.
In addition, you can try to change your name in Office 365 admin center, then check if the name would be updated in Teams client. It may wait for 24-48 hours to let changes take effect and reflect to all clients. For more details about how to change username, you can learn it from:
