Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable Setup Fails 0x80240017

Hello, when I was trying to open CraftWare, a message that says api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll missing pops up. To fix this, I tried reinstalling my Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable  both x64 and x86. I keep getting this mesage though: Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable Setup Fails 0x80240017. So, I decided to completely remove everything and reinstall windows. Still, I am getting this message. All the help I've seen from this are not working. Please help.

    Please do this...

    Open Start

    Type: cmd

    Right click CMD

    Click Run as administrator

    At the command prompt, type:

    net user administrator /active:yes

    Hit Enter

Close command prompt, restart, then try signing into the Administrator account.

Install both the 32 and 64 bit versions of the Visual C++ Redistributable 2015.

If you have any existing versions installed of 2015, remove them first:

Hi JC. I'm Greg, an installation specialist and 8 year Windows MVP, here to help you.

See if the marked Answer here helps as it has many others with this specific error:

    https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/for...

If not others in the thread found fixes they report.

You can also contact the program author to see if this is a known issue for which they have a solution or patch. They should have some way to contact for Support.

Have you also installed both bit-rate versions of Visual C++ as is sometimes required to get it to run properly? https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/297700...

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and let us know how it goes. I will keep working with you until it's resolved.
