I have an existing 2016 Exchange server that is NOT connected to AD because I reinstalled a new box with all of the information. I am trying to remove the remnants of exchange from the box but the installer keeps wanting to connect to AD for the removal. I dont want it removing ANYTHING from AD.

How can I do this>

    Hi, @ekontosWDB

To my understanding, you have recovered the exchange server on a new hardware and would like to uninstall exchange from the old hardware.
If I misunderstood something, please feel free to correct me.

In your case, I suppose that you may need to reinstall the operation system to uninstall Exchange from the server.
