    Hi Jyotirmay,

So that is 1709, do you have another PC to use currently?

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-downlo...

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardwa...

The two links above are to the Windows 10 iso, and how to build the bootable usb.

I think we should use the link above to download 1803, and install that.

If you don’t want to use the windows app to build the media, you can use one of these 2 apps I like:

    https://www.pendrivelinux.com/yumi-multiboot-us...

    https://rufus.akeo.ie

The following steps outline the steps to fix Windows failing to boot and you can boot to the advanced startup options.

My apologies, when I cross referenced that build number I thought it was 1709. Is this an insider preview build you’re having issues with?

    Thanks!

Hi Jyotirmay, it looks like you have just received the 1803 upgrade and it has not gone well . . .

Please try each option one at a time, then see of Windows will boot . . .

Go to Troubleshoot - Advanced Option - Revert to previous build of Windows

This would be the preferred option . . .

Go to Troubleshoot - Advanced Option - Startup Repair

See if Windows startup can repair itself

Go to Troubleshoot - Advanced Option - System Restore

Check to see if you have a restore point you can go back to

If you do not have a Restore Point, go to Troubleshoot - Advanced Option - Startup Settings and click Restart

Upon restart, press 4 to enter Safe Mode

Once in Safe Mode, backup your data if you do not already have a backup

Open Device Manager and check to make sure all your Drivers are up to date

Reboot to see if Windows will start Normally

If the above fails, go to Troubleshoot - Advanced Options - Reset this PC

Choose to keep your files and apps, just your files or to keep nothing

    Then start the Reset
