Change Beep when keys are pressed or accepted

Question

Hi everybody,

I want to know; if there is a way to change a sound, beep, that win 10 plays when this option is enable.

Path:

Control Panel\Ease of Access\Ease of Access Center\Set up Filter Keys

Other settings

• Beep when keys are pressed or accepted.

I don't like that beep, I want another one and it would be great if the user can change it.

Hi Jesus. I'm Greg, an installation specialist and 9 year Windows MVP, here to help you.

You can change sounds for any System functions in the Sound control panel. Type Sound in Start search. Choose Sounds tab. Adjust as desired.

I don't find the sound for when keys are pressed, I hear every single one and no one sounds like default one. Could you help me, whats the name of it?

I would need to go through the same list you are and you're the one who knows what sound you want or don't want. Choose one you like. You might find more if you change the Sound Scheme in dropdown.

I have a file with the sound I want to hear, the problem is that I don't know what is the "program event" I have to change to modify the beep.

I only have two options on windows scheme: no sounds and windows default.

The audio files are stored in this path, C:\Windows\media, but I cannot change RAW audio files.

It looks like it can't be done.
