How to switch off diagnostics

Good morning,

This morning I was forced to accept "basic diagnostics", to be precise my computer was hijacked, I could not continue to use it until I accepted this new feature, however I wish to remove all calls home, whether diagnostic or otherwise for everything except those I have had the time to thoroughly understand what data is being taken, who has access, the limitations of use, the impact it may have ("for future improvement" is not an adequate description of impact).

How is this feature disabled completely?  Not just the basic, but all calls home.

Furthermore how was this update able to be installed without permission?  All automatic updates are disabled?

    Thank you for the help.

I had found this page but I think it refers to diagnostics prior to this update.  I do not have the Siuf in CURRENT_USER but in LOCAL_MACHINE with a different set of entries.
