Parquet - supported compression

Power Query Desktop (in PBI) supports Parquet input - tested in Feb'2021 release at least - but the M documentation is very brief on the options or feature limitations.
For instance, which compression algorithm is supported: gzip, snappy, any other ?
Any plan to support the same on PBI service or Excel 365 ? Specifically parquet over http, with basic authentication, as it does now in PBI desktop.

    The Parquet connector does not currently support any options.

    The compression algorithms we have tested with are GZip, Snappy, Brotli, LZ4, and ZStd.
