Below is my Windows full version...

A software needs .NET Framework 4.7.2 to be installed. I downloaded it from here:-

https://www.microsoft.com/net/download/dotnet-framework-runtime

But I get this error midway during the installation process...

When I click "log file" in the above screenshot, I see this :-

Please help me fix this. Let me know if I need to give more info, for this is my first time here.

Regards

Subham

I didn't find any solution. Referring to your link, I think my network connection is alright.

In fact all downloads complete successfully as shown:-

Just after this, the error shows up. Let me know if I need say more.

The image you posted indicates that it is trying to roll back .net framework. This usually happens when you are trying to install and older version while a newer version is already installed. Have you tried to completely remove .net then install?

I didn't find any .net framework listed in the "Programs and Features"(from the Windows Control Panel). Your link also says the same for Windows 8.1 as shown below:-

I also checked in "View installed updates" as written above. But I didn't find anything related to Microsoft .NET. Here is what I see there:-

    What can I do now?

    Regards
