I have a 1 Terabyte External Hard Drive, which somehow got decompressed showing only 32 GB storage now. Is there any way out to recompress it back to 1 TB?

Hi Noorul

Did you attempt to create Windows Installation media on that drive?

Most of that drive has been knocked back to unallocated space, this cannot happen by accident . . .

Do you have missing data/files on that drive you need to keep?

If you do not, right click Drive H and choose @Extend Volume' accept the default size and apply that

That will give you back your full drive space . ..

Hi Noorul

Did you use that drive as Windows Installation Media at any time?

Open Disc Management (Accessibly by right clicking your Start Button)

Please post a screenshot of that window, so I can better understand your storage layout . ..

Here is the screenshot as desired & yes I used it a s installation Media once...ty

Right-click on the 32GB H: drive and select Delete volume.   When that's done you should have the full drive showing as unallocated space.  Right-click on it and select Format and choose the NTFS quick-format option.   Make sure that if you have data on the 32GB partition that you want to save, that it's backed up first.

With the external drive connected, open Disk Management (right-click on the Start button) and post a screenshot.
